New Home Telephone Line

FAQ

New Telephone Line (Inplace) - A working telephone socket exists from a previous connection and a technician is not required to visit your property or premises.

New Telephone Line (Reconnect) - A telephone service was previously connected at your business or premises and a technician is required to visit your business to reconnect existing suitable cabling at the main distribution frame (MDF) or first socket where no MDF exists.

New Telephone Line (New) - A telephone service has not previously existed at your property/premises. Even where cabling has been installed and you may have a dial tone.

Prices stated above are for the first service only.
Additional service charges (for each additional service connected at the same time, premises and customer) are as follows - Inplace: $59, Reconnect: $75.50, New: $179.
Additional charges may apply for items such as: cabling past the main distribution frame (MDF) or first socket where no MDF exists; trenching; or more difficult installations.
