FAQ: HOW DO I CHECK MY SPEED?

Go to Test My Speed and click on the state you live in.

Wait for the test to complete and you will be presented with the following message: "Which means you can download at XXX.XX KB/sec from our NSW servers."

The table below shows the maximum speed attainable for each connection speed we provide.

Dialup users should expect about 5 KB/sec

256K ADSL users should expect between 20-27 KB/sec

512K ADSL users should expect between 50-60 KB/sec

1.5M ADSL users should expect between 145-165 KB/sec

8Mb ADSL and ADSL2+ speeds are dependent on a lot of factors,

If you think you have a problem with your results, make sure you are not running other software which may be accessing the internet. Virii, other malware and Windows updates are common causes of poor results.
